The light at the end of the tunnel is finally within our sight....although a very tiny glimmer, we can defiantly see it! The siding was finished two weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. All those who doubted our clay/autumn red combo are in love (just like I am) with the way it makes the house look and feel. What do you think?!
We had the installation sprayed (yes sprayed) in last weekend and the plumbing and electric is around 99% done. We started hanging the drywall this past weekend and the 2nd floor is done!!
Once the first floor is finished we will hire someone to finish the drywall process (apparently it's pretty tedious and time consuming).
Paint colors are picked (not purchased) in case I change my mind (again) and our kitchen cabinets have been selected as well.
I feel like we still have a TON to do in a short amount of time (3 weeks) but I know Christian will bust his butt to make sure we come within schedule. He has been nothing short of amazing during this entire process and I'm most excited about being finished so he can have his life back!
Over the past few weeks we have gotten a ton of work done on the outside of the house (I even mowed the lawn for the first time:) new windows, doors, and siding have been added. I believe I have mentioned this before in an earlier post but I am IN LOVE with the siding color, 100x better then what I had envisioned in my brain. Every day I ask Christian when the red is going to go up....I'm a little too anxious for that.
Very happy to announce that we also received an extension, which bought us a little extra time to get our sweet "little" project done! We officially have to be done by September 19th! Cannot wait for move in day...it will feel amazing!
